Jiu Jitsu

Teaching a Jiu Jitsu class as part our offerings is a unique opportunity to promote health, wellness, and team building. We tailor our classes to cater to the specific needs and goals of our students.

 

Whether it's improving fitness, relieving stress, or fostering teamwork. By teaching Jiu Jitsu techniques and principles, we aim to not only improve physical fitness but also cultivate mental resilience and problem-solving skills that can benefit students in all aspects of life. Through regular training sessions, we help students build confidence, develop camaraderie, and enhance their overall well-being, ultimately contributing to a more positive and productive mental state of mind.

 

We are very fortunate to have Eric Rodriguez as our Jiu Jitsu instructor. He has so much experience and training that we guarantee you will receive some of the best Jiu Jitsu training in Amarillo, TX.

YOUTH SELF DEFENSE

Designed to equip young participants with the skills and confidence to protect themselves in various situations. These classes focus on teaching practical self-defense techniques while also emphasizing the importance of awareness, confidence, and de-escalation strategies.

The classes typically start with a warm-up to prepare the body and mind for the training ahead. This may include stretching, cardio exercises, and drills to improve coordination and agility.

YOUTH MMA

This class involves learning and practicing wrestling techniques such as stance, takedowns, escapes, and pinning combinations. Instructors break down these techniques into simple, easy-to-understand movements, allowing kids to grasp the basics while having fun. Live wrestling is also a crucial part of youth wrestling classes, giving kids the opportunity to compete against each other in a safe and supervised setting.

LITTLES BJJ

Our you BJJ class involves creating an environment that balances discipline and fun. Our instructors focus on fundamental techniques, ensuring that each child understands the basics of positioning, control, and submissions. We like to emphasize respect, teamwork, and perseverance is crucial to foster a positive atmosphere. We teach technique drills and live sparring, tailored to the kids' skill levels and physical capabilities.

CARDIO BOXING

High-energy, engaging workout designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, and overall coordination. This class is a lot of fun and a great workout! This class includes a combination of boxing techniques such as jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts, interspersed with cardio drills like jumping jacks, burpees, and high knees. It is a high-intensity workout that is great for endurance as well as balance and coordination. Get ready to sweat!

MMA TRAINING

The core of the training involves learning and practicing techniques from different disciplines. This includes striking techniques such as punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, as well as grappling techniques like takedowns, submissions, and ground control. Instructors break down these techniques into manageable parts, allowing students to understand and master them over time.
